Saudi Arabia has introduced, Saudi e-visa package, a new mechanism for visitors from seven countries to enter the kingdom, whereby visa clearance is included directly in the purchase of a travel package. The Tourist Package Visa project provides an electronic route into the nation for people of Bangladesh, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Mexico, and Pakistan that did not exist for them previously, despite the fact that it operates rather differently from the kingdom’s regular e-Visa system.
Why These Seven Nations Count
None of the aforementioned countries presently meet Saudi Arabia’s regular online tourist e-Visa requirements, which are restricted to a select group of passport holders. Government-supported pilot beginning in mid-2026
Under the guidance of the Arabian Ministry of Tourism together with the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Interior and the Insurance Authority the program was officially launched on July 6 2026. The idea, behind the program is simple, the kingdom combines flights, accommodations and visa issuance into a transaction so that visa approval becomes part of trip planning. There is also space for tourists to include tours, events, or other experiences. Officials have called this a trial stage, which means that the list of qualified countries and the conditions linked to the scheme might alter as the government assesses its effectiveness.
Where Tourists May Reserve It
Three businesses now provide the Package Visa, Reserval, Almosafer, and Webook.com. From the beginning, Reserval incorporates the visa application into its trip-booking process. Almosafer uses a somewhat different approach: tourists first secure flights and lodging, then use the confirmation information to submit the visa application. With optional add-obs for events or activities, Webook.com sells its version as an all-in-one package including airfare, hotel accommodations, the e-Visa itself, and travel insurance. Although every application must pass review by Saudi immigration officials before it is finalized, turnaround times vary across operators:, Reserval promotes approval within about a day, Webook states up to two days.
Trip Needs: Group Size, Hotels, and Duration
The terms of service published by Almosafer provide the best clarification of what constitutes a qualifying travel. The flight and hotel dates must coincide exactly, and the hotel reserved must have a minimum four-star grade. Reservations have to be made at least two days before departure, and the whole travel length has to be between two and eighty-eight days. Though every youngster has to be linked to an adult traveling on the same reservation, a single package booking may accommodate up to nine adults and five children. Webook records that the generated visa is single-entry and is only good for the particular days reserved.
Around SAR 4,000 Per Adult: The Price Floor
This is not a flat-fee visa package; eligibility depends on the total value of the package. According to Almosafer’s current pricing structure, a package for the first two days must total at least SAR 4,000 per adult (roughly $1,070), divided between roughly SAR 3,598 in travel costs and SAR 402 for the visa, insurance, and processing fees. Every extra day past that calls for at least SAR 1,000 more per adult. These are baseline prices, not set ones, hence the actual cost will change based on the flights, hotel class, and travel dates a visitor chooses. It is also important to remember that changing or canceling a reservation once the visa has been granted could jeopardize its validity should the trip no longer satisfy the criteria of the program.
How It Differs from the Regular e-Visa
Eligible visitors apply on their own and then plan their trip free of need to reserve via any specific platform under the regular Saudi tourist e-Visa. The Package Visa reverses that sequence; applicants must turn in passport information and a picture as part of completing their package booking and payment, so the trip and the visa are locked together from the beginning.
A part of a larger campaign to increase access
Since launching tourist visas in 2019, Saudi Arabia has been progressively increasing its entry possibilities, and this most recent action points to that continuous effort instead of only a growth of the current e-Visa list. Officials seem to be evaluating demand and logistics before deciding whether to extend a package-based model by testing it with a small number of countries first. Travelers from the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and Japan still depend on the regular e-Visa process; however, citizens of Bangladesh, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Mexico, and Pakistan now have a totally digital choice of their own for the first time.
